This device is used for overall appearance inspection of automotive LCD modules before they leave the factory. The optical hardware of this defect detection system consists of multiple 16K pixel high-resolution line scan cameras, a 71M area scan camera, and a 10M area scan camera.  Combined with a custom-developed appearance inspection algorithm from Nayang Technology, the system achieves a 99% detection rate for surface defects such as dents, cracks, and blemishes on automotive LCD modules.
